A beautiful pub in Radlett, Hertfordshire, asked me to design four A1 posters to visualise the character of the pub. They are targeting a younger audience, so I decided free-hand illustrations would best portray their four main USP's:

1. They have their own chicken run.
2. They smoke their own meat & fish.
3. The gardens are animal friendly.
4. They run their own small library.

<img src="http://payload51.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/3337547/Waggon-Horses_x4Posters 1_2_905.jpg" width="718" height="484" width_o="718" height_o="484" src_o="http://payload51.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/3337547/Waggon-Horses_x4Posters 1_2_o.jpg" data-mid="27835752" border="0" align="left"/><img src="http://payload51.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/3337547/Waggon-Horses_x4Posters 4_3_905.jpg" width="718" height="484" width_o="718" height_o="484" src_o="http://payload51.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/3337547/Waggon-Horses_x4Posters 4_3_o.jpg" data-mid="27835749" border="0" align="left"/>

I also designed and produced the world's first ever 'beermat scratch cards', where the punter is invited to scratch away the (what would have been) ugly block of flats to uncover the (saved) beautiful pub. Here is the prototype:

Humour is by far the most significant activity of the human brain.

This is my Grandmother (Babcia). She once told me that her sense of humour was the only thing that
kept her sane whilst she was held prisoner at various Nazi concentration camps.

They say it takes approximately seven seconds for the brain to visually memorise a face. But what happens when you try and remember a group of faces? Fred North and I went to a Folk Club, spending around seven seconds observing face after face. What we found was that our memory was dominated by a constant stream of 'stand-out' features, blending in and out of each other - creating a collective portrait of the Folk Club.<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/1393358/ARDEN_websiteall3.jpg" width="670" height="314" width_o="1294" height_o="608" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/1393358/ARDEN_websiteall3_o.jpg" data-mid="6780686" border="0" align="left"/><img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/1393358/ARDEN_websiteall3_2.jpg" width="670" height="314" width_o="1294" height_o="608" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/1393358/ARDEN_websiteall3_2_o.jpg" data-mid="6782707" border="0" align="left"/><img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/1393358/ARDEN_websiteall3_3.jpg" width="670" height="314" width_o="1294" height_o="608" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/108842/1393358/ARDEN_websiteall3_3_o.jpg" data-mid="6782974" border="0" align="left"/>

This animation explores the theme of secret suburbia in the town of Ealing, coined ‘Queen of the Suburbs’. We obtained an interview about the life of one of it’s residents. This became the dialogue for the final animation as the character divulges his secret profession - an adult film producer.

This project was a self-initiated extension of an old project called "fake" In a nutshell, I wanted to get on TV, so I spent two days creating a persona that I thought justified air time on prime-time TV, applied myself & produced a character I knew they would like.

It was a great success - condensed into 2.5 minutes, it got quite literally millions of views on BBC Three and a huge response from the public.
I was featured on Radio 1:
